Career Gear’s Youth in Motion or YIM program is a collaboration with selected partners working with various organizations that service students ages 16 – 24 from diverse demographic and socio-economic backgrounds. Applicants include advanced high school students who have excelled and first-generation graduating students bridging the gap of stagnation to get to the next level of success.
Career Gear has tailored programming aimed for Veteran’s returning from service. We partner with organizations and individuals who specialize in working with the military personal to address any challenges in returning to civilian life.
Whether re-entering the work force post incarceration or working on their 2nd or 3rd career path; Career Gear offers services to men of all ages, ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds without judgement. The MovingForward program inspires men to find success regardless of the obstacles that have held them back in their past.
Career Gear is committed to providing a green environment with our staff and interns by promoting a paperless process, appropriate and approved recycling options and awareness on new and innovative ways to stay committed to improving our environmental impact. Focusing on re-purposing rather than re-donation allows Career Gear to join other major like-minded organizations and companies in the Textile Sustainability Movement.
