Jeff Zausch is an American survivalist, adventurer, and TV personality who has appeared on several seasons of the Discovery Channel reality series “Naked and Afraid” and its spinoff “Naked and Afraid XL”. He is known for his survival skills, especially his fire-making abilities, which have earned him the nickname “Fire God” among his fellow cast members.
Zausch was born and raised in Idaho, where he learned how to hunt, fish, trap, and forage from his father and grandfather. He graduated from Idaho State University with a degree in Spanish and a minor in Business. He has worked as a firefighter, a wilderness guide, a translator, and a motivational speaker.
