Kevin Roby is a convicted murderer and a self-proclaimed Satanist who is serving a life sentence for killing his sister in 1987 and another life sentence for killing his cellmate Lloyd Avery II, a former Hollywood actor, in 2005. Kevin Roby was born in Los Angeles, California, and was a dropout from the Air Force Academy. However, when the detectives arrived at the scene, they found Hill’s body covered with dog food in a large trash can. She had been raped twice, sodomized, and strangled to death by Roby, who later confessed to the crime. The Satanic Transformation
Roby was sent to Pelican Bay State Prison, a supermax facility in Crescent City, California, where he became interested in Satanism and devil-worshiping rituals. He started calling himself a Satanic Christ and renounced his previous religious beliefs. The Murder of Lloyd Avery II
In August 2005, Roby was assigned a new cellmate, Lloyd Avery II, a former actor who had appeared in movies like Boyz n the Hood and Poetic Justice. Avery was serving a life sentence for killing two people in 2001. He had converted to Christianity while in prison and was part of a congregation led by Dennis Clark, a former inmate who became a pastor. Avery often carried a Bible with him and tried to persuade Roby to embrace Christianity, which led to several conflicts between them. On September 4, 2005, Roby attacked Avery with a metal bar and strangled him to death. He then performed a ritual with Avery’s body, carving a pentagram on his chest and placing a plastic bag over his head.
