Warren Haynes, the frontman of Gov’t Mule and a renowned guitarist who has played with the Allman Brothers Band, the Grateful Dead, and many others, had to cancel his band’s New Year’s Run shows due to a medical emergency. While Haynes will not be able to perform at Island Exodus 2023, the event will go on with special guests joining his bandmates Matt Abts, Danny Louis, and Jorgen Carlsson. They will join the previously confirmed special guests Jimmy Vivino and Ron Holloway for three Gov’t Mule & Friends performances at the Jewel Paradise Cove in Runaway Bay, Jamaica. The event will take place from January 15 to January 19, and will also feature Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Experience, Duane Betts, Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country, and Little Days.
